Update - Despite two updates from Microsoft, both versions of Outlook (16.63 and 16.64) are still experiencing this issue with the Bookings Add-in on the Mac client.
Microsoft is continuing to investigate this issue, and we are still awaiting progress on the issue we have raised with them.

Identified - We have identified, that the issue is introduced with the newest version of Mac Outlook Client version 16.62. Versions below 16.62 still work as intended.

We have no options for mitigating this in our own Outlook Add-in and Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and put it in their backlog. See: https://github.com/OfficeDev/office-js/issues/2677/
Microsoft has not provided a timeline for a resolution but we will keep you updated on progress.

Current workarounds include:
- Postpone updating to Mac Outlook client version 16.62
- Use the Outlook Web Application
- Switch to the old Outlook Client for Mac temporarily. In the client, this is done by navigating to the top left corner and clicking on "Outlook", and then removing the tick from "New Outlook".

Update - We are still investigating this issue. Currently we have identified, that the issue most likely have been introduced in the newest version of Mac Outlook Client version 16.62. Versions below 16.62 still work as intended.

Investigating - Mac users using the Bookings Add-in through their Outlook Client, will experience the resources they add are not responding when sending the event through Outlook. This is solely an issue related to the Outlook Client on Mac. We are currently investigating the issue.

About This Site

The AskCody Statuspage is the main communication channel for all issues affecting the operational status of AskCody Products. This includes both our infrastructure and services, referred to as components. These are divided into Europe and North America based on the two cloud platforms (onaskcody.com and goaskcody.com).


Component status definition:

Operational: The default status for all components, 100% available and operation for all customers.

Under Maintenance: Used for scheduled maintenance. This is informed in advanced based on our SLA specification.

Degraded Performance: Component is affected by slow response time that affects user experience but does not make that component unusable. Does not affect downtime.

Outage: Partial Outages only affect a subset of users or product components. Affect the up-time calculation 30%.

Major Outage: Affect 100% of the people using the component/product thus affecting up-time calculation with 100%

Resolved - After monitoring the performance of the released fix, there have been no instances of the "Unable to get property 'get' of undefined or null reference", nor have we identified any other adverse implications.

We, therefore, consider this incident resolved.

Monitoring - Following the internal testing of a solution, we have now released the fix to the production environment, resolving the issue with the error "Unable to get property 'get' of undefined or null reference" that appears when the Services Add-in is opened, after the initial Service Request is cancelled.

We will monitor the performance of the fix before closing this incident.

Update - Our development team has now found a fix to the issue, which is currently being tested internally. If the testing is successful, we will proceed to make the update available for our customers and actively monitor its performance.

Update - Our Development Team continues to actively work to implement an optimal solution to prevent the "Unable to get property 'get' of undefined or null reference" from appearing, restoring the add-in functionality.

The current status of our Development Team's efforts is that they are testing various potential solutions in AskCody's Test Environment and monitoring the impact they have on the Outlook Add-in's performance.

As we progress with this testing, we will provide updates on this issue, based off their findings.

Identified - We have identified an issue with the Services Outlook Add-in where the add-in opens with an exception "Unable to get property 'get' of undefined or null reference" if the request is marked cancelled. This also applies of only one of multiple requests is cancelled. The issue is identified and we are prioritizing finding a solution.
